Welcome to my Redhill newborn photographer sessions, and congratulations on this exciting time. Instead of posed babies in baskets I offer natural newborn images, emotive photography full of tender moments and connections with you and your new baby. This can be an overwhelming time so there is no time pressure here, its a baby led session and can last from an hour to three hours, so there is plenty of time for feeds and nappy changes and don’t fear there will always be a cup on tea and a biscuit on offer! My Redhill studio is minimally decorated with neutral tones and textures no props. Just timesless simple images of your babies first few months in this world!

How old does my baby have to be for newborn photographs ?
The ideal time for newborn photographs is up to 14 days of age due to the fact they are very sleepy and still in the fetal curled shape. I still offer baby shoots in just the same way after this time but just be aware baby will be awake for a longer proportion of the shoot.
How far in advance should I book?
2-3 months if possible I normally pencil in a few dates around your due date so that we can be as flexible as possible as you know babies don’t always arrive on time!
How long does it take to get my images?
Approximate time frames are 2 weeks.
What do I wear?
I will send through a Pinterest board of outfit ideas and inspirations suitable for the shoot.
How long does the shoot last?
Sessions last from 2 to 3 hours – depending on the mood of the little ones!
What if my baby doesn't sleep?
Don’t worry alert images are just as lovely but I find most babies will sleep for at least part of the shoot.
what if my baby has milk spots and dry skin?
Don’t worry I touch up all images and will remove these unless you want to keep them in.
